In this UX case study, I delve into the transformation of traditional interview processes using an innovative Video Interview Portal, aimed at enhancing engagement and insight.
As Project Lead for the Video Interview Portal, I orchestrated its development, ensured stakeholder alignment, managed resources, maintained quality, facilitated adoption, and drove continuous improvement for enhanced interview experiences.
Traditional interviews often lacked the following essential elements:
Difficulty in assessing candidate's soft skills and emotional intelligence.
Need for efficient communication without disrupting the interview flow.
Manual recording and consent issues.
Introducing a Video Interview Portal featuring:
Machine learning based insights into candidates' emotional responses.
Private messaging is possible at anytime during the interview.
Showing recording clearly and transparently in the main screen with proper Consent.
Overcoming the technical challenges associated with emotion analysis and ensuring data privacy required close collaboration with data scientists and legal experts.
HRs can engage in group and private chats during interviews.
HRs have access to detailed participant profiles during discussions.
HR/recruiting managers can view basic candidate information and analytics.
Candidates can access job descriptions during the interview process.
